Color

Early civilizations would be astonished by the unlimited amount of colors that exist today—this is mainly due to their limited exposure to certain colors and lack of modern sciences. Just in the last 50 years, the neon colors we know today didn’t even exist. With the advancement of new sciences and technologies, new colors are continuously being developed.

At Crayola our mission is to own color. We achieve this through the proprietary technology we have and are continuously striving to develop. We want children to see the magic, feel the emotion and experience the power of creating with color. For over 100 years we have delighted children with our nostalgic crayons and our most recent innovations, Color Explosion and Color Wonder.

Currently, Crayola is developing a number of innovative chemical, mechanical and electronic product for a wide variety of mediums: crayons, markers, pencils, chalks, paints, clays and even lights!…We are also creating product for an even younger audience—bringing the creativity to all ages.

The experience we offer children can be messy or mess free, bright or soft toned, magical or expected, but always making the art experience creative, unique, and fun.
