A block of rooms has been reserved at the Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza, for the evenings of April 27 through 30 at a special conference rate of $99 per night plus applicable taxes. The Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza puts you in the heart of Kansas City, overlooking the Country Club Plaza, the sophisticated center of Kansas City's dining, shopping and cultural scene. Aside from providing a great location, the Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza creates an elegant and comfortable setting for leisure, business or meeting guests. The guest rooms blend business-friendly features like high-speed Internet access with many other thoughtful amenities to provide an upscale, homelike feeling. All guest rooms in the hotel are non-smoking. The Main Street Grill features all-day dining with a traditional American menu. A 24-hour fitness center and indoor lap pool provide convenient recreational options. The meeting will be hosted at the hotel, and the reception will be within walking distance of the hotel.

When making your reservation please quote, “ISCC Annual meeting” to receive the group rate. All reservations must be made on a guaranteed basis with either credit card or a cash deposit equivalent to the first night's stay plus applicable taxes. Any charges or cancellations must be received 24 hours prior to arrival or 1 night room and tax will be assessed.
Reservations must be made prior to Friday, 6 April 2007. After that date the hotel will release the remaining portion of the bedroom block for resale. The hotel will accept reservations after the aforementioned date, on a space available basis, however, guests may not benefit from the contracted rate.

The Kansas City Airport is roughly 25 miles from the hotel and Country Club Plaza. The airport code is MCI.
Transportation from Kansas City International Airport to the Marriott Country Club Plaza
Driving directions: Take I-29 South to U.S. 169 South. After crossing the bridge over the Missouri River, go straight onto Broadway. Follow Broadway to 31st Street. Turn left on 31st Street. Turn right on Main St. The hotel will be at 45th and Main Streets on the left hand side of Main. On-site parking at the hotel is $7 on Saturday, $12 on Sunday and Monday. Valet parking: $17.

Each day the Marriott will provide:
- A continental breakfast (Freshly baked muffins, breakfast pastries, croissants, fresh melon, seasonal berries, chilled juices, milk, coffee, decaf and teas)
- Mid-morning refresh (Assorted fruit, coffee, decaf, teas)
- Afternoon break (Freshly baked cookies, brownies and bars with coffee, decaf, teas, lemonade and iced tea)
Sunday evening’s reception will be catered by Café Sebastienne in the Courtyard of the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art directly behind the Marriott. A variety of hors d’oeuvres created by renowned chef Jennifer Maloney will be served from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. One drink ticket at the wine and beer cash bar is included with the registration.
Monday’s Award’s Luncheon will be at the Marriott.
Sunday’s lunch and Monday’s dinner are on your own. A short walk down the hill outside the hotel lies the historic Country Club Plaza, a shopping and entertainment district with Spanish architecture and a wonderful selection of restaurants.
