2008 Expert Symposium Call for Papers
The Inter-Society Color Council (ISCC) will hold an Expert Symposium in Baltimore, Maryland at the
Tremont Suites Plaza Hotel on Tuesday, September 16, 2008.
The theme of the one day Expert Symposium is "Safety Color" The program will consist of an
opening address discussing the historical use and standards of safety colors and then will move into
various topics such as fluorescent and phosphorescent colors and materials, integrating safety colors
into fashion and specific applications, and advanced topics like safety colors and new lighting technologies
Authors are invited to submit 1-3 page extended abstracts of their proposed contributions
in English according to the submission instructions, provided in the MS Word template
for the extended abstract. Extended abstracts should be sent by no later
than 20 June 2008 to Cameron

Authors will be notified of acceptance of their abstract by 30 June 2008 at which time they will be allowed to update their extended abstracts. Presentations will be 25-30 minutes in length, including questions.
